Hi Glenn, it is nice to meet you here. I will email you in response to your email and give you some details. The Scriptures differ from what you are taught in denominational churches mix paganism with worship.
It is fantastic to see you searching for the truth in the Scriptures, and we will do whatever we can to enable you to start your walk.
But anyone else, please feel free to contribute from your own experience
@natsarim.way yes I too am new to all these and would like to know where we can Access the original texts. thank you so much for explaining in such a beautiful way.
@Christina Sherrill, without learning Hebrew and Greek, accessing the original texts is difficult, you are correct to seek the meaning of the original Scriptures - there is significant variance in translation and between translations where the focus is fitting the translation to a church doctrine, not to what the original content was.
There are however some very good translations, and reference books. We use the Hebrew Greek English Interlinear Bible with Strongs Concordance numbers, Strongs Concordance, and other references such as Owens Analytical Key to the Old Testament. We also use the BYNV version of the Scriptures and the Restored Name Scriptures. All of these can be located on either Amazon or Ebay. BYNV is also available directly from Lew White who you can find on the internet.
