Hi Dianne, and apologies for the delay in replying to you. It is a good question, and one that I have had posed a number of times. Although we do not have direction from the Scriptures on High Sabbaths, we are told the same as the normal weekly Sabbath – do no work. The Messiah did not do any work on the Sabbath, but we do see Him doing his ministry of healing, feeding and teaching on the Sabbath. The Messiah Yahusha healed people on the Sabbath day. He also reprimanded the pharisees for their attitude when they complained that healing people on the Sabbath breached the Commandments. Two good verses to consider are Mark 3:4 And He said to them, “Is it right to do good on the Sabbath, or to do evil, to save life or to kill?” But they remained silent. 5 And having looked around on them with displeasure, being grieved at the hardness of their hearts, He said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” And he stretched it out, and his hand was restored as healthy as the other. Luke 14: 2 And see, there was a certain man before Him suffering from dropsy. 3 And Yahusha responding, spoke to those learned in the Torah and the Pharisees, saying, “Is it right to heal on the Sabbath?” 4 But they were silent. So taking hold of him He healed him, and let him go. 5 And to them He said, “Which of you, having a donkey or an ox that has fallen into a pit, shall not immediately pull him out on the Sabbath day?” 6 And they were unable to answer Him regarding these matters. So I think that doing good such as essential services in savings lives and easing pain and suffering is OK.

Hi Tom, it is not easy to follow the truth, as our enemy will use every means at his disposal to prevent and disrupt your walk. We walk a narrow and difficult path, but you are doing so well in taking the steps in faith that you already have. Family members particularly can make it very difficult, but be patient , pray, study and keep faith. Your family need to see a reason to change their views, but also you need to be able to respond to situations that may arise with the truth from the Scriptures, just as the Messiah did when he was tempted. We are here to help you and we will pray for your strength. Our education and the way we are trained to think from birth make it very for anyone difficult to see and learn the truth, and take that first step in faith. So let them keep seeing your walk in the Fathers Word with humility, patience and kindness. I think any of the readers here, including myself, would say that what you have found is no different to what each of us has found. To me, one of the greatest lies is e-a-s-t-e-r, which is designed by our enemy to remove the power of the Messiahs sacrifice and hide the salvation plan, merging it into paganism. We are heading to the spring feasts (schedule of appointed times is a page here), and this could be a time to point out to them how churches twist the truth, enough to hide the truth. Anyway, if you would ever like to chat, particularly if you things get really hard, come and have a chat, I would be pleased to talk to you, or anyone in your family who would like to talk. Praying and sharing with others can help carry heavy burdens. Baruch Hashem Adonai Ron and Aviyah

Hi Tom, apologies for the delay in replying to you. The Set Apart Spirit has taught you and guided you to the point you are at. For me it took close to a lifetime also, but the change was so rapid once I understood that my education prevented me from seeing the truth. From that moment, the Scriptures came alive. It does not matter what views there are in the community, what matters is your spiritual walk with the Father and Messiah. Natsarim were watchman, and we proclaim the path to Salvation set out by the Messiah, the renewed covenant, and the use of the Father, Messiah and Set Apart Spirit actual Names (it is respect). You are correct to place emphasis on the Torah. The Torah sets out the Fathers requirements to Worship Him, as well as the behaviour he expects of us, such as the Commandments, and also the Fathers salvation plan for mankind in the form of the Feasts. While some of the Feasts have been fulfilled and the sacrificial system is no longer necessary due to the Messiahs sacrifice, we remember the fulfilled spring feasts, and celebrate the great in-gathering (autumn Feasts) that will occur with the Messiahs return. For the Feast days, we respect the High Sabbath days, these are non-servile days. We spend those day in celebration, prayer and study, remembering what each Feast day represents. The Feast days for 2022 are set out in the website on the page titled "Feast days 2022". High Sabbath days are shown in red. Let me know if you would like to discuss further, the Torah is such rich, ineresting information. The Torah detail is unfortunately missed by many denominations who consider that the Feast Days do not apply - however as noted above, they set out the Fathers Salvation Plan and were a command to all believers, including Israeli and non-Israeli.

Hi Nadine, it is nice to meet you here, and welcome to the Natsarim family. You are right, denominations and teachers have educated people sufficiently that they have become spiritually blind to the truth in the Scriptures. The challenge to you and all other Natsarim is to re-educate people so that their eyes are spiritually opened. Where our enemy cannot directly oppress and coerce you with false teaching, he will try to accuse you with guilt, seeking to undermine your confidence with false accusations. You are not alone, we all face the same accusations. But ignore it, he does not have power over you. Remember the words in the Gospel, 1 John 3:20 “that if our heart condemns us, Elohim is greater than our heart, and knows all.” The Father hears everything. He even hears our thoughts (Psalm 139:1 “O Yahuah, You have searched me And know me. 2 You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought from afar. 3 You sift my path and my lying down, And know well all my ways. 4 For there is not a word on my tongue, But see, O Yahuah, You know it all.” So the Father hears every thought and prayer, he searches the heart and tests the minds of each believer. If anyone has prayed and worshipped in truth, the Father will have heard that. I think that if anyone has innocently used the wrong name, but intended the Father and Messiah, He will know it. However, if someone knows better and chooses not to obey the Scriptures, that is a different thing. Proverbs 28:9 sets out that where someone turns from the Torah, his prayer is an abomination, “He who turns away his ear from hearing the Torah, Even his prayer is an abomination.” We are told in the Commandments to respect the name of the Father, and I think that means using His Name (Yahuah) and the Messiahs Name (Yahusha) appropriately, and not using what is in effect man-made names or false deity names that bear no relevance to the Scriptures, Exodus 20:7 “You do not bring the Name of Yahuah your Elohim to naught, for Yahuah does not leave the one unpunished who brings His Name to naught.” So I think that if you, or anyone else has innocently used the wrong name, but prayed in honesty and truth, your prayer and worship would be heard. Note - I think that the Yahushua was not the Messiahs name, as Strong's Hebrew: 7769. שׁ֫וּעַ (shua) means a cry for help. The Hebrew meaning of Yahusha which is what I think the Messiahs name is means, “Yah is our deliverer”.
