I have two daughters and six grandchildren, and followed an engineering and regulatory career. I enjoy my family, gardening, researching, and writing.

Several years ago my eyes were spiritually opened and my belief was cemented solidly into reality. The world around us is not what it seems. I found that my largest barrier to belief was my education. What I perceived with my senses is only a fraction of what actually exists. After a lot of research, I found that our brains process information from our surroundings and create a subjective reality based on our upbringing, education, media, experiences and beliefs. However, this reality can be easily manipulated, as our brains are susceptible to illusions and biases.

What we consider to be true and real is often a product of our social and cultural conditioning, and this is often true for belief in the Father, the Messiah, and the Word. What I learned in churches and denominations was far from what I now understand the truth in the Scriptures really is.
